You'll find that it's easy to register your children at HCCS. We're here to help you every step of the way. Pre-registration begins in February for the subsequent school year. We can provide you with an application in our school office. We will gladly answer any questions you may have, and we'll schedule your meeting with our school principal.

Students must be five (5) by September 1 to register for kindergarten. Students entering HCCS for the first time provide an original birth certificate, an original baptismal certificate, and a current record of immunization. Students in first through sixth grades present report cards of past progress and promotion if transferring from another school and a filled out recommendation form by current teacher/principal.

All students who attended school at HCCS the previous school year must register for the subsequent school year.

Parents/Guardians must pay a non-refundable $300.00 registration fee per child at the time of registration. The “FACTS” financial management system utilized by the Santa Fe Archdiocese will automatically withdraw the monthly tuition from your bank account.

Pre-K Tuition $4,600

K-8th Tuition $4,400

Please call the school office or send an email to set up an interview. You will need to bring a copy of the birth certificate, baptism certificate (if they are Catholic) and immunization records.

Dear HCCS families,

This applies to PreK students, {Student_First_Name}. Payments for the 2025-2026 school year will begin in July. Please take action today to apply for child care assistance if you are looking to have monthly payments covered for PreK. It is important that you DO NOT use the verbiage "PreK". The state will only recognize funding for the term "Child Care". With various state programs, PreK falls under a different program and they will not pay for services. We are certified for Child Care. When you get a call from the state for the program, that is when you will use the term Child Care and apply for full-time services.

If you do not apply, you will have to pay the full cost of tuition for your PreK student beginning in July.

After you apply, once all of the required documentation is received, ECECD will process your application within 10 working days. This process may be delayed if you do not provide all the required documentation with your application. If you are missing documentation, ECECD will send you a Notice of Action detailing what documents are missing. You then have 14 days to submit the remaining documents. Your application will be denied if all required documents are not turned in within that time frame.

Immunization Requirements

At Holy Cross, we want your child to remain healthy and safe. We comply fully with New Mexico state immunization guidelines for all students. Check with your family doctor or call our school office with any questions.
